Need for a Team Fee

Each season, we set a team fee based on our estimated number of players, budget needs for the season, and the amount of sponsorship/fundraising dollars brought in by the team during the off-season. The amount of team fee differs for the girls/boys programs as the amount is directly impacted by the level of fundraising/donations each team brings in. If a team were to fundraise the amount needed to cover the entire budget for the season - the team fee would be $0. 

All players pay the same team fee regardless of their placement on the roster, as our varsity only travel expenses are covered by our generous corporate sponsors. By collecting a fee to cover all team expenses up front, and with the additional financial support of our team sponsors, we do not collect any additional funds from players/parents throughout the season! 

With that said, we never want finances to prevent a student from joining the South Tennis Program. Please reach out to Coach Corry ASAP if you need to request a partial or full scholarship.

2025 Team Fees will cover the following:

• Uniforms & Embroidery (two tops, two bottoms) - players keep their uniform / additional apparel at the end of the season. 

• Uniform tops for coaches.

• Extra gear for players as chosen by team leadership (possibilities include hat/visor, sweatshirt, t-shirt, etc)

• Coach Background-Checks

• Team Equipment (Tennis balls, coolers, ball machines, etc.)

• Team Technology (Swingvision accounts for all players, Top Court Subscription, recording equipment, google storage fees, etc.)

• Team Transportation Expenses

• Team Tournament Entry Fees

• Hotel expenses for overnight tournaments (only those playing in the tournament will travel and be covered by the team budget)

• Team sandwich platters and snacks for full day tournaments

• Finger foods & decorations for Final Banquet

• Fence Decorating Supplies

• Senior Banners

• Senior Gifts

• Food and supplies for Senior Night

• Senior All-Star Match Fees

• Post-Season Awards

• Team bonding activities (team dinners, off-season events, etc.)

• Small fee for incidentals
